West Virginia University will provide free COVID-19 antigen self-test kits and KN95 masks to students, faculty and staff on campus this semester.
Step-by-step instructions for completing the self-test can be found on the Back to Campus website.Video tutorials are also available.
The supplied KN95 masks can be reused by the same wearer for several days if the following guidelines are followed for use and care.
To protect the outside of the KN95 mask and improve fit (protection), consider wearing a cloth or surgical mask over the top of the KN95.
Heavy or sustained use in environments that generate high aerosol levels, which can occur in healthcare workers caring for patients with COVID-19.
Until Friday, January 14, on-campus students, on-site and hybrid employees can pick up their self-check kits and KN95 masks at the following locations:
Mountainlair (Blackwater Hall) – Today (Tuesday, January 11) – 9am-4pm; Wednesday, January 12th to Friday, January 14th – 10am-2pm
Students and staff must present their climber card when picking up test kits and masks.
